A Study of the Attractiveness Factors for the Ecotourism in Tannan Village

Popis: | 98 According to statistical data issued by the World Tourism Organization, in 2001, there are more than 690 million tourists turning their interest in eco-tourism totally. It is estimated in 2020, the number of eco-tourists will exceed 1 billion. Tourists start their eco-tourism focusing on environment-responsible touring experience taking good care of natural conservation and community well-being of local residents. In this research, the Evaluation Grid Method (EGM) of Miryoku Engineering is used to explore the attractiveness factors for eco-tourism around the Tangnang Community. Also, recognition similarities and differences against the attractiveness factors of the Tangnang Community eco-tourism among counselors, enforcers and consumers are also analyzed with the correction available for eco-tourism design and implementation. In this research, it is expected to conduct the analysis as below. 1. It is expected to analyze the resources of Tangnang Community eco-tourism and investigate current status. 2. It is expected to analyze the attractiveness factors of Tangnang Community eco-tourism. 3. It is expected to analyze feeling differences toward the attractiveness factors of Tangnang Community eco-tourism among various background groups. In this research, there are some findings. 1. The Quality of Services creates a difference between the importance and preference of attractiveness factors. 2. Primitive attractiveness factors of Tangnang Community eco-tourism can be mainly classified with 4 types, namely Humane Cultural Architectures, Natural Landscapes, Experience Activities and Others wherein there are 22 primitive attractiveness factors included. Also, there are 47 concrete attractiveness factors and 26 abstract attractiveness factors concluded. 3. In attractiveness factors, the recognitions of counselors, enforcers and consumers come with differences. 4. In view of 4 major types of primitive attractiveness factors arisen from the Tangnang Community eco-tourism, when tourists with high involvement are interviewed, only the two types of Humane Cultural Architectures and Experience Activities are mentioned more than 4 bouts. 5. Most interviewees agree the importance of attractiveness factors of Tangnang Community eco-tourism extracted by this research. 6. After statistical analysis, features mostly arisen from every primitive attractiveness factors are reachable. 7. Community eco-tourism abounds in natural resources featuring humane cultural architectures. However, it is deficient in applications and expressions with less maintenance effort spent on hardware architectures. Therefore, human cultural features cannot be well demonstrated. |
