Popis: | 98 This dissertation presents the derivation, analysis and implementation of DC/DC converter with zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) turn-on feature for power switches and zero-current-switching (ZCS) turn-off feature for rectifier diodes. By using active clamp circuit, the energy stored in the leakage inductor and magnetizing inductor of the transformer can be recycled, and the magnetic flux of the transformer can also be reset. Moreover, the voltage across the power switches is clamped, and the ZVS turn-on feature for power switches can be achieved. However, a large additional resonant inductor has to be included in order to assure ZVS turn-on for a wide load range that poses several serious problems, including a large effective duty loss, serious voltage ringing on the rectifier diodes and considerable heating. In addition, the reverse-recovery problem occurs at the rectifier diodes as well and decreases the overall system efficiency. In order to improve above drawbacks, this dissertation presents a series of dual series-resonant circuit at the secondary side of transformer to create the ZCS turn-off condition for rectifier diodes. By using the leakage inductor and the resonant capacitors at secondary side of transformer, the current of the rectifier diodes becomes a sinusoidal half-wave which is able to achieve the ZCS turn-off feature and overcome the reverse-recovery problem for the rectifier diode. The operation principles, design considerations, and realization of each proposed converter are described in detail. Finally, the simulation and measured results from prototypes are presented to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed converters. |
