Popis: | 98 The purpose of the study was to explore the impact of Integrating Internet-News into Water-Use Instruction (IINWI) toward third graders’ water-use cognition and attitude. This study was a quantitative research, supplemented by qualitative data. This study was a pretest-posttest nonequivalent groups design. The sample was selected by convenience; two homogeneous classes of third grade in Taipei city were invited to be the participants. The two classes were randomly assigned to be experimental group (EG) or comparison group (CG). The EG with 30 students received IINWI, whereas the CG with 29 students received regular water-use instruction. The instruments used in this study were all self-developed. Experts proofread both of water-use cognition questionnaire and water-use attitude scale, and tryouts were given to confirm their reliability. Both two groups were given pretest and posttest with the same two instruments. The pretest factors were eliminated by analysis of covariance (ANCOVA), and the data were verified by qualitative analyses. The results of research were as following: First, IINWI similar to general instruction toward the water-use cognition. Second, IINWI similar to general instruction toward the water-use attitude. Third, in the IINWI process, students and the living environment for related news will be more impressed, and thus can enhance students’ water-use attitude through Internet-News. But because of reading comprehension and time, students are not exposed to the positive attitude of the news. |
