Consumer Acceptance model of Smartpen towards Online Shopping

This study explores how Smartpen can be integrated through the TV (IPTV) and Web interface (WWW) to positively impact consumer behavior intention towards online shopping, according to the development, to improve the User Interface matter would help the most of Telco operators and ISP (Internet Service provider) providing the broadband services and attracting consumers to adopt their broadband transmission services, besides, the number members of broadband usage are the most primary income for Telco operators and ISP, wherever any country. If internet is a hit approach to achieve many purposes upon advantages as cost effective, efficient and data comparison; in the case the study will emphasized into three prior dimensions, including the Smartpen analyses of business model, industrial analysis and consumer acceptance. The mainly research for behavior analysis will focus on the acceptance of Smartpen to explain how to improve the existing struggles from most of broadband service providers and ISP, and furthermore the study will integrate the theory of Technology Acceptance Model and estimating the behavior of numerous types of broadband access users. Smartpen is an interactive device and entertainment system to be plugged-in with either the Set-Top box for IPTV system or PC for WWW portal services, which is an innovation and cutting edge solution has not been released yet in Taiwan market, but may be potential to affect the broadband world near in the future; The sample consisted of 330 general people. All of them were practically touching the physical wire- Smartpen and simulated the operation for online shopping; the introduction has been presented by web before answering the questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed by using regression analysis and ANOVA to explain it and we got significant impacts by integrating the TAM structure towards online shopping with Smartpen; the results showed all positive significant Perceived Useful were supported Consumers with higher Perceived social presence of Smartpen and greater perceived easy of use of search domain found positive online shopping intention. Furthermore, in terms of Trust and enjoyment of constructs showed large positive effect on perceived on perceived social presence of Smartpen as well. In addition, there were four constructs (Perceived Easy of Use for shopping, Perceived Useful for shopping, Trust for shopping and Enjoyment for shopping) all of them were supporting Attitude toward for shopping and we found the all significant positive effect on it. On the other hand, although attitude toward for shopping was also found to have a large positive effect on Behavioral intention to use for shopping except the relation between perceived useful for shopping did not have significant effect and Behavioral intention to use for shopping. Refer to the result, we found the expected feedback, the elder group preferred shop in real store rather than virtual environment, but the figure showed they were the most curious about the newfangled devices, hence can we say that might be a potential anticipation of Smartpen in future market? Furthermore, the relation between perceived useful for shopping and Behavioral intention to use for shopping came out not significant effect and apart from the others, our inference is that might be the time is the key factor to influence activity from attitude to behavior intention, also people need time to adjust new CE device gradually. The research showed the definitely advantages for adopting Smartpen online shopping, also estimated the distinction behavior between existing situation and the environment with Smartpen adoption, hence the furthermore inference if the Smartpen is further integrated with the existing backend platform of broadband system, it may probably improve the existing business struggles of broadband service providers and we might assume a powerful and potential development in the future online shopping world with the clever Smartpen.
