The species of acrobatic is varied in Taiwan. The core performance of acrobatic is entertaining, expressive and highly skillful. The aims of this research are bath, to explore the historical background of acrobatic performance in Taiwan, and based on the study of contemporary theatrical notions to recreate a new style acrobatic performance. The study found that firstly, in last fifty years the Taiwan's acrobatics could take place in theater, hotel, nightclub, and as well as on street. Most of them were as a sort of "entertainment show", emphasized on interesting, skillful and entertainning.Secondly, in the last decade the forms of acrobatic performance were changing rapidly. The reasons of changing were caused by new theatrical aesthetics, new technology and a new performing form and constant. Thirdly, based on the results of this study the researcher trying to found his own concepts of acrobatic art. In which there were the theaterical elements, rhythmic body skills and different performing art forms integrated in artworks.The respective of this study is trying to develop a new acrobatic art form, in which the innovative techniques, dramatic plot, expressive gestures and cultural heritage could be integrated. Hopefully, these explorations could arouse the young generation to create their own stylistic acrobatic art. In this case the aims of this study are valuable.
