Popis: | 98 In this thesis, a simulation was developed for the assembly tolerance in a rotational sliding hinge by modifying the assembly constraints. During the design process for a sliding hinge, the effects of deflection and gaps can be illustrated in real time by graphical representation. After assembly, design engineers are able to determine the tolerance stack of the rotational slide hinge. This method was integrated with Taguchi experimental design to determine the sensitivity of the assembly tolerance in order to achieve a design with robust tolerances. The thesis included the following three topics: (1) Provided a visual representation of the tolerance simulation. Based on the structural properties of the rotational sliding hinge, the assembly conditions and cam-follower connection were configured for the rotational sliding hinge to demonstrate the actual assembly tolerance in a graphical representation through the use of computer-aided mechanism analysis. (2) Determined the dimension chain for the rotational sliding hinge and parameterized the values to reflect the assembly tolerance in real time when changes were made to the design parameters. (3) Based on the Taguchi method, the tolerances for assembly dimensions were used as the control factors. The corresponding dimension tolerance with the largest sensitivity value was determined by experiment. Robust design was performed on the tolerances. This work can be used as a reference for tolerance design when designing a rotational sliding hinge. |
