Single carrier frequency division multiple access (SC-FDMA) is a novel technique that can be utilized in future communication systems. SC-FDMA is a modified form of Orthogonal FDMA (OFDMA) and it can provide a similar throughput performance and the same overall complexity as OFDMA. Most importantly, SC-FDMA has lower peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) comparing with OFDMA. In this thesis, I proposed Coded cooperation with dynamically assigned subcarriers in SC-FDMA systems, It can provide time, frequency and space diversity in SC-FDMA systems. Using suitable cooperation strategy, it can improve time and space diversity. Also each user cooperatively transmits his data and partner’s by dynamic allocation of subcarriers to obtain improvement in frequency diversity. From the results of numerical simulation, it was quite obvious that the proposed scheme outperforms direct transmission and adaptive cooperation scheme in Bit Error Rate (BER) performance and data rate. According to the situation of channels, the dynamic allocation of subcarriers of Coded cooperation with dynamically assigned subcarriers in SC-FDMA systems improves the BER performance and data rate for every user of utilizing superior subcarriers in SC-FDMA. However, it will require channel information by estimating. The results of simulation show that Coded cooperation with dynamically assigned subcarriers in SC-FDMA systems can provide satisfied performance for a little inaccurate channel estimation.
