Popis: | 98 The majority of construction methods in the Taiwanese traditional architecture of art were came from south China because of the immigration from Fujian and Guangdong province. Taiwanese ancestors cultivated wastelands led to economic growth and brought many Tang Shan Masters to Taiwan in the end of the Ching dynasty. The Masters passed on their skills to many students and most of their works were wide spread in the major temples in Taiwan. It also encouraged the art development of architectural decoration. Ceramics collage arts is a great invention in Architectural Decoration. It has very closed history and relationship with Cochin Pottery and they are both placed on the same position of a building. As for the current development in Taiwan, ceramics collage arts is more widely spread than Cochin Pottery and Clay Crafts. It is the most common seen architectural decoration within Taiwanese traditional buildings. The shapes of ceramics collage arts are changed as different buildings and most of them are set up on the raising the roof edges, ridges and the walls. The composition of ceramics collage arts comes form the popular culture and customs of Chinese stories, such as The Romance of The Three Kingdoms, The Investiture of the Gods, and SUI TANG YEN-YI, those have symbols that represent fortune and lucky. In early times, the ceramics collage arts were made by broken pottery pieces from propitious omen while the ones are assembled by colorful glasses and special-made glaze blending in nowadays. In old times, the ceramics collage arts were so special and without any limits in shapes and forms that made historic buildings look gorgeous because of the broken pottery pieces were in many curves and colors. Nowadays, in order to save labor and reduce working time, the construction steps were reduced and materials that applied on ceramics collage arts are less than before. The inherited construction steps are disappearing. This article lists the difference between traditional skills and construction steps with those are used in present. Moreover, it collects and analyzes the inherited systems by different Masters, materials, tools and tooling usages by huge data from field research and the influence on the art of ceramics collage arts. |
