| Popis: | 98 Many schools buildings in Taiwan were seriously damaged in the Chi-Chi earthquake in 1999. Seismic upgrading of existing school buildings is a stringent issue. Therefore, National Center for Research on Earthquake Engineering (NCREE) has developed a handbook to demonstrate the relevant technology for detailed evaluation and retrofit design of school buildings. This research is composed of two main parts, the first part is that carried on the investigation of school buildings in Taipei county, in order to find the omissions of school buildings and found the relation of school buildings in defferent seismic evaluations so that the seismic evaluation data in the databank can be used. The other part is the databank research of the compulsory school buildings in Taipei county. The databnk research first proposed the seismic upgrading order in the light of seismic capacity of school buildings. Second compared with three methods and recommend a safe ratio of column area for the compulsory school buildings in Taipei county. The final part is the statistics of retrofit design of school buildings. |
