Popis: | 98 The purpose of this research is to acquaint the current operation and the consideration factors of the athletic team manager running group training. The research was conducted a self-designed questionnaire. Questionnaire was created as the research tool collecting data from each school''s coaches, administrative staff and student athletes for the current study. The researcher used descriptive statistics, t-test, and ANOVA test to analyze and report the collected data. The conclusions were summarized as the following things: I. The current organization structure of school athlete team There are 582 teams categorized into 49sport items with the average number per school is 3.51 teams. The elementary schools consist of 6810 athletes and 581coaches.Most teams are track and field. Tee ball and lion-dance are second or third respectively. II. The current operation of school athletic team 1 To form school athletic team: In order to promote sports activities, members of school volunteered to join the athletic team as school coaches or athletes. 2 Group training resources:Mainly the schools prepared their own budget for group training expenses and purchasing equipment. Most schools held training within campus and don’t set up any supporting group. Many schools nurses were assigned as part-time sport injury protectors. 3 Team training and Assistance:Most teams have routine training programs. More than 90% of teams have conducted summer and winter training. Most of them train 3 to 5 days a week and held after school. Majority of them do not assist in school work, however they do help them with daily life matters. Thus continuing education is based on individual’s decision. 4 Achievements and Rewards:Basically they reward the coaches in accordance with the regulations set by the department of education. Most of coaches who received rewards were part-time coaches. Majority of them did not earn allowance for training athletes. Normally they award the athletes with prize or certificates. III. The consideration factors of group training among school athlete team 1 According to significance, the order is administration support, coach profession, athletic gift, other resources in school and the achievement and prize. 2 Although the various team managers with different background include gender, teaching experience, seniority, assign as a coach or not, these do not affect their viewpoints on the consideration factors of group training. 3 For their viewpoints on the general training and education programs, there is a significant difference among those directors of athletes who were in different ages and if they had related major in sport education. |
