A Study of the Community Website of the Network Management Teachers : An Example of Nantou County's Information Forum

| Popis: | 98 In this network time, each kind of knowledge changes everyday. The network management teachers have to enrich the network management knowledge by themselves in the elementary school. However, they cannot choose the right knowledge because the sources of knowledge are too many. The internet community is the essential tool in order to enter the internet world. The Nantou County information forum is the internet community where the information technology teachers can mange the knowledge and share the experiences. It also provides the virtual learning environment where the information technology teachers can share their knowledge and experiences all over the different schools and the different areas. This study focuses on the best model that the network management teachers implement the mentoring of learning the network management knowledge in internet community. The members can ask any questions anytime about the network management from the interactive learning internet community in order to solve the problems together. The experienced masters teach the apprentices how to solve problems to form the cognitive mentoring of the network management teachers in the community site. The visible information technology teachers would be transformed into the virtual internet community because of building the best model of the network management teachers in the community website. This study adopted the quasi-experiment method and recruited the Nantou County's informational teachers who learned the network management knowledge as subjects. The data was analyzed by One-Way Analysis of Covariance for Independent Samples. The study showed that learning the network management knowledge in internet community from the mentoring is better than learning from the traditional way. The mentoring community works for the information technology teachers of different abilities, but the progress is not remarkable. The information technology teachers showed their satisfaction about the internet learning. And the design of the Nantou County information forum got the good comment. The conclusion of this research can provide the future learning of the community website. |
