| Popis: | 98 The purpose of this study was to explore the lived experiences of single mother during their empty-nest stage, and to understand the feelings on their empty-nested life world, the relations of their parent-child, the adaption in their empty-nested life, and plan the future. The study was based on hermeneutic phenomenological methodology. The research used the semi-structure in-depth interviews to collect text. After analyzing the date though thematic analysis and intersubjective agreement and checking between the research and interviews. Also, five essential common themes was identified. There were respectively five common themes as followed: first, empty-nested experience: having mixed feeling in mind, facing adult children leaving home. Secondly, transform the role of parents and children.: the change role of mother and children, making heart more closer. Third, re-experiencing life: expansion and enjoy life. Fourth, the experience of Menopause: the new stage of life, doing self and loving self. Fifth, the future life: satisfies can be joyful and, treasures each moment Finally, some discussion, and reflections were presented to the readers. In addition, several suggestions was proposed for practicians, and future research. Key words: Single mother, empty-nested stage, lived experience |
