Popis: | 98 The purpose of this study has resorted to the investigation upon the theme of relationship between parent involvement of educational affairs and teacher effectiveness in elementary school of Hualien City, while diverse background variables of elementary school teachers are employed to analyze the scenario of difference between parent involvement of educational affairs and teacher effectiveness. The primary objectives of this study are: 1. to appreciate the cognition of elementary school teachers of Hualien City regarding parent involvement of educational affairs; 2. to appreciate the views of elementary school teachers of Hualien City for teacher effectiveness; 3. to investigate the relationship between parent involvement of educational affairs and teacher effectiveness in elementary schools of Hualien City. This study has employed questionnaire, and the information collected from the questionnaire is conducted of investigation and analysis. The targets of study are mainly of the entire 278 home-class tutors from `13 public elementary schools of Hualien City for the proceeding of questionnaire. In total, 271 valid questionnaires are returned, with 97.2% of availability. Then, the research tool of “Research Questionnaire on the Relationship between Parent Involvement of Educational Affairs and Teacher Effectiveness in Elementary School of Hualien City” is used, while descriptive statistics, t-test, single-variance analysis, Pearson product-moment correlation, and canonical correlation analysis and other statistic methods are used for computation and analysis. The conclusions of this study are : 1. The cognition of elementary school teachers of Hualien City for parent involvement of educational affairs is considered to be at medium upper level. 2.Teachers with diverse background variables are found without difference with regard to parent involvement of educational affairs 3.The teacher effectiveness of elementary school teachers of Hualien City is found lying between medium upper to highly effective level 4.Teachers with diverse background variables are found with some difference with regard to views of teacher effectiveness 5.Parental participation of educational affairs in elementary school of Hualien City is related to teacher effectiveness As indicated from the comprehensive results of study, substantive suggestions are thus put forth as foundation of reference for educational administration authorities, schools, teachers, and subsequent researchers. |
