This study combined extension method with TRIZ theory to develop an innovative method for a case study of banking industry service. Through literature reviewing non-technology area applications of TRIZ theory, this research finds 21 transactional parameters, 40 inventive principles and the contradiction matrix. After the exporter interview, the parameters fitting of transactions and the appropriate contradiction matrix for innovative banking industry service are determined. Furthermore, the extension analysis and matter-element transformation in extension theory are used to this study. While the extension analysis transits to matter-element transformation, the use of matter-element transformation possess the characteristics of good things to resolve contradictions. This allows users to easily deal with contradictions. To cover only the use of TRIZ tools to solve design problems, pioneering encountered the problem of inadequate. However, the TRIZ contradiction matrix and inventive principles can identify understanding contradictions, produce really effective principles of invention and result in the thinking direction of innovation after the matter-element transformed. Finally, four case studies are used to verify the feasibility of these two methods, applying the TRIZ application into the non-technical area of applications in the banking industry service.
