| Popis: | 98 Accurate cost estimation plays an important role especially in the bidding phase. Even though there are numerous techniques explaining how accurate estimation models may work, they mostly remain in conceptual introduction. A systematical method for general-purpose used estimation model is desired. This study introduces a new systematical estimating method based upon past experience and data to fast and to accurately assess construction costs of a town house. The data gathering process widely investigates detailed construction data from 191 town hours locating in the Taoyuan County. Utilizing the linear regression and work breakdown concepts, the total cost of a town house can be broken down into seven categories of structure, external wall, internal wall, temporary construction, window and door, miscellanea, and overhead. The model evaluation demonstrates that the estimation error limits in ±4.41% under the assumption range of two standard deviations. A simple estimation model is applicable for the town house projects. |
