| Popis: | 98 This thesis endeavors to explore the concept of the folklore of Eight Immotals (Baxian) in Taiwan, and its localization. To analyze the meaning of Baxian folklores, the present study traces back the Historical and Geographical context, and especially the specific narrator. As a number of interpretive options are explored, such as existence of folklore, culture context, and feelings of residents. The Narrators’ understanding of life, and the local human spirits and thoughts will constitute the speciality of folk culture collectively. The cultural overtones induced by them, and will affect the folklores’ purport, profundity, and merit eventually. |
