Popis: | 98 With the rapidly increasing competitiveness in the global setting, enterprises face more and more challenges. In order to response the complex and dynamic environment, team-based design has been adopted widely in organizationas. Moreover, recent global economic recession has forced many organizations to lay-off employees. The lay-off resulted in increasing survival employees’ workload. Thus, the management has realized the importance of employees’ initiative and employee’s perceived personal impact in organizational environment. In addition, for organizations focusing on marketing and R&D activities, team-based job design has been adipted to perform projects. The rise of the use of team in organizations means that facilitating the support and cooperation within team members could inspire higher altruism and synergy which would lead to co-creative innovations. The study aims to figure out how to guide employee’s initiative, perceive their impact in the team, and, furthermore, develop organizational citizenship behavior directed toward individuals. Convenience sampling method was used to collect data. Questionnaires were developed to collect data from a sample of members and direct supervisor. Besides the invalid or incomplete questionnaires, there were 214 valid questionnaires. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was adopted to analyse the collected data. SPSS 13.0 and AMOS 18 were used for statistical analysis. The results of this study are as follows: (1) Person-group fit positively influences personal initiative; (2) Person-group fit positively influences impact; (3) Personal initiative positively influences organizational citizenship behavior directed toward individuals (OCBI); (4) Impact has no significant influence on OCBI; (5) Personal initiative totally mediates the relationship between person-group fit and OCBI; (6) The mediating effect of impact on the relationship between person-group fit and OCBI was not supported. |
