Pulmonary hypertension is a very serious disease, though occurred by many causes, mainly judged by the lung blood pressure greater than 30 mmHg, So far no effective drugs can cure this disease.Through the activation of Peroxisome Proliferator-Activated Receptor (PPAR) to improve the Monocrotaline (MCT) induced pulmonary hypertension is a possible way to cure this disease. There are two main features for the MCT induced pulmonary hypertension increase in the pulmonary artery pressure, and right ventricular hypertrophy. PPAR is known to suppress inflammation have a great effect, and can significantly increased the effects of superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione (GSH), Catalase (CAT) and free radical scavengers So far, the role of PPAR in improving pulmonary hypertension is still not clear. In this thesis, we sought out the study the underlying mechanisms. In this study, Wistar rats used as experimental subjects, there have five group CON, MCT, MCT+VEH, MCT+TZD, TZD. The implementation of the seventh week of the expense of functional determination, determination of morphology, enzymatic determination of free radical scavengers. For the functional determination of pulmonary blood pressure, and there is a significant difference between MCT + TZD and MCT group (P
