Taiwan is located at the boundary between the Eurasian Plate and the Philippine Sea Plate. The interaction between these two plates, the plate activity makes the role of the geological structure in Taiwan is fairly complex. In order to understand the ground floor of the Kaohsiung-Pingtung area and the body structure, we use the seismic data which is CWBSN recorded and the selected range is from 120 degrees east longitude to 121 degrees, 22.2 degrees north latitude to 23.2 degrees. We use double Difference Tomography Method to inverse three-dimensional velocity structure beneath the Kaohsiung-Pingtung area. We also use the Staggered-Grid Finite Differences method to simulate the real seismic waves. According to results,we obvious high-and low-anomaly and the eastern side of the Chaozhou fault with a high area and the west side with a low area, and we judge that Chaozhou fault is a thrust fault. Distribution by the earthquakes can also be observed that the fault from south to north increasing inclination, nearly 90 degrees for a high angle thrust fault. From the profile can be observed below the Chaozhou and Liukuei fault, there may be a blind fault or the fault of these two conjugate fault. By the waveform simulation results show that the location near the earthquake epicenter near the station, the waveform simulation have good fitness, otherwise the waveform simulation have low fitness.
