This study focuses on the quantum well infrared photodetector of the mid-wavelength infrared, long wavelength infrared and dual-band measurement data for analysis and discussions in detail. There are 15 layers and 30 layers for two different quantum wells based mid-wavelength infrared to be analyzed. To adjust different mole fraction and barrier thickness is to improve operating temperature for background limited infrared potodetector and reduce the dark current, and then to change different quantum wells, doping concentration, position of doping, and modify the transition type to improve responsivity for long wavelength infrared. To achieve the optimized parameters in the mid-wavelength infrared and long wavelength infrared, these parameters are analyzed for the dual-band, with the measurements of the response, dark current, activation energy, detector noise current.
