Popis: | 97 For the precision cutter grinder, The cutter’s geometrical and dimensional errors depend on grinding accuracy, and the cutter’s characters have influence on the quality of workpieces. Therefore, elimination of error sources will be beneficial for the improvement of the grinding accuracy, and enhancement of products’ quality for workpieces. The positioning accuracy in the rotary and linear axis is the basic requirement for cutter grinder, If a rotary axis is driven by worm and worm gear, indexing accuracy of the rotary axis is dependent on fabrication quality of the worm and worm gear. At present, only final indexing error has been measured at the final check of machine. In order to enhance the indexing accuracy of the rotary axis, a measurement system has been developed for this inspection. For the real-time measurement system for fabrication of the rotary axis, the major components include, the mechanical design, the data acquisition system and HMI arrangement etc. During fabrication of rotary axis, indexing accuracy measurement can be determinately by this inspection system. The relationship between worm and worm gear and indexing accuracy can be realized by analysis of rotary axis. Distributions of the indexing can be investigated by the experimental data. The enhancement of indexing precision can be verified by analysis between with and without compensation . |
