A Study on the Relationship between Undergraduates' Learning Experiences and Career Planning in Educational Disciplines

Popis: | 97 This study attempted to investigate the relationship between undergraduates’learning experiences and career planning in educational disciplines, and to provide the reference for administrator of universities. According to the research purpose, this study employed secondary data analysis. The measurements used in this study were the 94 academic year juniors’survey by Taiwan Higher Education Database. The samples were the 94 academic year 20 universities and 44 majors in educational disciplines. Descriptive Statistics, Independent-Samples T Test, one-way ANOVA, Chi-square Test of Homogeneity of Proportions, Multiple Regression Analysis, with repeated measures were used to analyze the data. Based on the research findings, the conclusions are as follow: 1.This current conditions of undergraduates’learning experiences in educational disciplines. 1.1.Undergraduates’academic performance in educational disciplines better than the annual undergraduates'. 1.2.Undergraduates’to satisfaction of curriculum are common; to satisfaction of book resources and campus environment are good; to satisfaction of the life of the dormitory need to be strengthened in educational disciplines. 1.3.Undergraduates’human relations in educational disciplines are good. 1.4.Undergraduates’participate in corporation activities in educational disciplines need to be strengthened. 2.This current conditions of undergraduates’career planning. 2.1.Undergraduates’to future preparedness planning in educational disciplines need to be strengthened. 2.2.Undergraduates’goals in life in educational disciplines are clear. 3.The different conditions undergraduates’learning experiences with different backgrounds in educational disciplines. 3.1.In academic performance, academic performance of girls better than boys. But there is no difference in undergraduates’with different family socio-economic backgrounds in educational disciplines. 3.2.In learning satisfaction, there is difference in book resources, campus environment and the life of the dormitory between girls and boys. But there is no difference in undergraduates’with different family socio-economic backgrounds in educational disciplines. 3.3.In human relation, there is difference in peer relationships between girls and boys. But there is no difference in undergraduates’with different family socio-economic backgrounds in educational disciplines. 3.4.In corporation participation, there is difference in undergraduates’between with different sex and different family socio-economic backgrounds in educational disciplines. 4.The different conditions undergraduates’career planning with different backgrounds in educational disciplines. 4.1.In future preparedness planning, there is difference in undergraduates’between with different sex and different family socio-economic backgrounds in educational disciplines. 4.2.In goals in life, there is difference in undergraduates’between with different sex and different family socio-economic backgrounds in educational disciplines. 5.In career planning, there is difference in undergraduates’between with different academic performance in educational disciplines. 6.In career planning, there is difference in undergraduates’between with different satisfaction of curriculum and the life of the dormitory in educational disciplines. 7.In career planning, there is difference in undergraduates’between with different human relations in educational disciplines. 8.In career planning, there is difference in undergraduates’between with different the level of participation of corporation activities in educational disciplines. 9.Undergraduates’“academic performance”, “satisfaction of the life of the dormitory”, “human relations” and “corporation activities” of learning experiences only have low prediction of the career planning in educational disciplines. Finally, according to the conclusions of this study, there were some suggestions presented to the universities, professors, curriculum, career planning of the undergraduates’and for advanced studies. |
