Popis: | 97 There has been a tremendous increase in the popularity of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services as a result of huge growth in broadband access. The integrated technology of video and data in VoIP is steadily emerging as an important application over Taiwan Academic Network (TANet) with stable and efficient bandwidth. The Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) develops the tElephony NUmbering Mapping (ENUM) to solve the problems of mapping the name of a destination into an address in a combined Internet Protocol (IP) and Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN). However, the special data characteristics of ENUM impose requirements of providing high query throughput within a tight response time and allowing background bulk database update without severely interference to query performance. There has been no comprehensive design on how all these dialing plan can be satisfied when connecting to telephone network. Base on ENUM standard facilities and traditional telephone framework, in this thesis we report on the design and implement of an Area VoIP eXchange Center (AVXC) over TANet, a fully distributed control server structure with dual paths route to secure a completed numbering plan, Direct Inward Dialing (DID) via Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), and distinctive Caller Line Identification Display (CLID) on the called party. AVXC is a cost effective solution of VoIP application for Ministry of Education (MoE). This result could be a reference solution for School and Government to deploy voice applications over TANet. |
