The purpose of this research was to explore the effects of somatic movement education on ADHD school children by way of case study method and taking five 1st to 3rd grade pupils with ADHD as subjects. The research designed a 12-week course of somatic movement education which focused on exploring their respiration, tranquility, relaxation as well as movement, and collected feedback sheets of those students, reflective journal of teaching, records of observers and parents, records of observed behaviors, interview data and Behavior Problem Screening Scale as the tools of the research. The results were as follows: I. All the pupils highly accepted and enjoyed the course. II. Their inattentive behaviors and behavior problems were improved. III. Through the process of researching, the researcher improved his course-designing capacity of somatic movement education and teaching ability. The conclusion of this research was that this curriculum of somatic movement education fitted to those ADHD pupils and brought positive effects on the inattentive behaviors of those school children.
