Research of Consumer's Behavior on Automobile Market-Sampling from High School Faculty in Nantou County

The purpose of this study was to explore the auto market consumer behavior factor. The research was conducted by questionnaire survey; the survey was based on Taiwan's Nantou region middle high school teachers and staffs. After questionnaires were collected, the descriptive statistics and chi-square test were employed to make data analysis. There were 286 responses in seven schools involved in the research program. The results of this study, summarized as follows: The cognitions of consumer behaviors, most would rely on their individual preferences of vehicle brands, and the economic situation. Before purchasing a car, function performances and price differences were the most considerations. The auto price, manipulation performance, brand image, security equipment and usable vehicle space were valued by most of responses. The after-sales services, the vehicle maintenance costs, the attitude of sales staff and vehicle maintenance staff were valued by most people.
