| Popis: | 97 This paper is going to probe into the process for chanting Buddha name to transform and purify his inner world through religious practice of Dharmalparyaya in its field of Dharma Drum Mountain System, under the principle of the relationship between Dharmalparyaya and Pure-sect as the main research. Further more, the discussion moves to the practical life level to achieve the possible realization of ideal "to uplift the character of humanity and build a pure land on earth". When this paper does research in a transforming course, dynamic and practical, the "process", therefore, is of great significance. It is the reason for the author to take the anthropological point of view, to get involved in body into the "fieldwork", and to observe the Chanting Buddha name how to act and cognize this action in the religious field, how to influence the way of thinking and the spreading question of numerous aspects of life in the actions. In order to penetrate into the observed phenomenon and the roots for the Chanting Buddha name'' inner world, semi-structured intensive interview is employed. How to accept "to perfume" of Buddhism, to purify heart and carry them out in daily life involves the concept of "habitus" in Bourdieu. If a human who has acquired habits wants to transform body and soul in the rites, the first thing to do is to establish the first approach with the help of activities of group study in the religious field that is "perfume" of religious field, to undermine the old habits. Next, he should behave according to "practice" of bodhisattva stage to establish a new system of habits. In this sense, the field to the establishment of a new system of habits is alike to the function of an incubator. Owing to this, it is possible for Chanting Buddha name to establish a new system of habits. However, religious practice is still limited in the improvement of the present plights, belonging to the stage of "uplift the character of humanity", in which the Chanting Buddha name construct his own Pure-land. If they want to "build a pure land on earth", then they need to reshape their habits according to the "practice" of "Gone afar" in bodhisattva. During the research it is found that after the religious practice in the rites and the practical employment in daily life, the old habits of Chanting Buddha name are able to "transform" and to hold a positive attitude towards and view upon life to relive their lives rather than the different secular thoughts at the same time. In the interviews, it is informed that Buddha practice of Chanting Buddha name is not only the outcome of their success in building self pure land, but also, influenced by the energy emitted and spread bits by bits during the process, becomes a trend towards the building of pure land on earth. |
