Studies on the Mutual Funds' Contribution from Wealth Management Customers for a Case Bank

| Popis: | 97 This paper utilizes the wealth management customers of the case bank as the research samples and adopts the multiple regression model to analyze the effects of gender, age, education, location, risk attribute, trading frequency, total assets of mutual fund, actual fee rate, return, electronic transaction, and electronic bill on the contribution to the case bank. The sample data of the case bank are selected based on the customer’s total assets of mutual fund are more than NTD3 million, and the sample period is from January in 2006 to June in 2008. The empirical results show that the customer’s age, risk attribute, trading frequency, total assets of mutual fund, actual fee rate, return, and electronic bill are positively correlated with the contribution to the case bank, while electronic transaction is negatively correlated with the contribution to the case bank. The findings of this study can provide useful information for the financial institution to make different marketing strategies. |
