Despite of their origin from the Western World, there is no doubt that they are also valid for the domestic maintenance industry. The purposes of this research are to discuss the compatibility between domestic airline maintenance system and the Dirty Dozen, and to propose some suggestions to change the unsuitable measures in aviation maintenance systems. From the viewpoint of a senior aviation technician, the reasons of past serious flight accidents caused by maintenance crew are investigated in this thesis, and prevention measures are proposed to remind maintenance crew of preventing the occurrences of frequent mistakes. Maintenance crew play a vital role in the flight safety net. With their active involvement in preventing occurrences of the Dirty Dozen, all of us are able to enjoy safer and more comfortable flights.
