Popis: | 97 This research aimed to investigate the pore pressure of lightweight aggregate concrete (LWAC) slabs after exposure to high temperature and compared with companion normal weight concrete (NWC) slabs. The experimental variables included position of measurement point, moisture content, maximum temperature, heating rate, and duration of high temperature. Test results showed that for oven dry specimens, the maximum pore pressure measured at 10 mm below the heating surface in the LWAC slabs was higher than that of the NWC slabs; while at 30 and 50 mm below the heating surface opposite results were reached. It indicates that for oven dry specimens, the maximum pore pressure measured in the LWAC slabs was near the heating surface; while for NWC slabs the maximum pore pressure measured were deeper. On the other hand, for air dry specimens, the maximum pore pressure measured in the LWAC slabs was deeper; while it does not make a significant difference in NWC slabs. |
