A series of shaking table tests were conducted to study the dynamic behavior of pipeline under shaking in this study. Safety factor of underground structure as well as the concept of drag force in fluid are used to establish a simple model for calculating pipeline displacement, and thereby can predict the displacement of buried pipeline. Besides a pipeline-soil interaction model developed by the several studied in the past can study displacement during earthquake shear wave. The results showed that peak amplitude is about 70cm by using Lee method, and about 130cm if using JRA method. After earthquake, the ground settlement should be calculated by Seed et al. (1987). The differential ground settlement could be transferred into the burdened pressure loading on the underground pipeline by using Iimura (2004) method. The results showed that the pressure caused by the ground settlement is about 47MPa at boring B-36 and B-37. Moreover the results showed that the displacement is about 14cm at B-36 and B-37, and the bending moment is about 6×107 N-m at B-38 and B-39. Overall to say, the displacement after liquefaction will increase 20 times usual condition and the bending moment will increase 150 times.
