Popis: | 97 Traditionally, trial and error is adopted to solve the electroforming problem resulted from the manufacturing process and setting of parameters. Trial and error is easy to conduct, but the trial and error method will increase manufacturing costs and product defects. In addition it is not able to assure the selected parameters will result in optimal or near optimal performance. For this research, no additional machine is used. In this research, the Taguchi method is used for robust system experiment for a dynamic response with an L18 orthogonal array design. An experiment with an L18 orthogonal array design was conducted and seven steps were applied for dynamic response optimization in the following sequence: 1) Define Scope for Optimization 2) Identify Ideal Function(s)/Response(s) 3) Develop Signal and Noise Strategy(s) 4) Select Control Factors and Levels 5) Execute and Collect Data 6) Conduct Data Analysis 7) Predict and Confirm. Using fewer experiments for optimized diameter parameter and will assist in reducing cost. |
