| Popis: | 97 This study is designed to understand the situation of teachers’ mate selection criteria at elementary schools, and it explores teachers’ criteria factors which affect their mate selection. First, the exploratory factor analysis (EFA) is used to analyze the teacher’s criteria factors. Then, we analyze the differences of teachers’ mate selection criteria based on their backgrounds. We adopt the questionnaire method to collect data. The teachers of primary schools in Kaohsiung county take part in this activity as survey samples. One hundred eighty-five surveys were conducted for a valid rate of 92.5％. We collected data and analyzed the materials by using descriptive statistics, factor analysis, T-test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson correlation. The main findings of this study were as follows: 1. Using the factor analysis, we determined eight dimensions of criteria. These are object basic condition factor, object living environment factor, object ethnical background factor, object knowledge and economical factor, object personality and temper factor, object appearance factor, object relative age factor, and object marriage concept factor. 2. The difference in their gender role, age, marital status, educational level, monthly income, religious belief, family financial condition, job positions, teaching experience, type of transport, living condition, whether they have a house or a mortgage, would make significant differences in elementary schools teachers’ mate selection criteria. |
