Popis: | 97 In this paper we will introduce a code called irregular concatenated zigzag (ICZZ) code [6]. ICZZ codes can be regarded as a special case of irregular low-density parity-check codes with linear-time encodable structure. They are different from concatenated zigzag (CZZ) codes [13 ] in the sense that the number of information bits entering into each zigzag encoder can be different and different zigzag codes can be used as component codes. The performance of ICZZ code is better than CZZ code and keeps the advantages of CZZ codes such as linear-time encoding and rate control more easily by puncturing. ICZZ can be decoded using 2-state trellis decoders. The 2-state trellis decoder can be implemented by the Bahl, Cocke, Jelinek, and Raviv (BCJR) algorithm [12] [14]. This can reduce the complexity of decoding. Then, we will introduce the Gaussian Approximation (GA) and using the Greedy algorithm to find good codes. |
