Popis: | 96 The purposes of the study were to investigate sexual knowledge, sexual attitude, and sexual education needs of students with visual impairments. A questionnaire that was developed by researcher, was used for collecting data. There were 35 students with visual impairment who were from junior high schools of southern Taiwan and 55 students of special schools for the visually impaired. Results of the study were as follows:1.The correcting percentage of sexual knowledge of subjects was 68.5%. 2.The sexual attitude of subjects was not positive. 3.The sexual education needs of subjects were more sexuality than sexual relation. 4.The more correct the sexual knowledge, the more negative the sexual attitude, and the less the sexual education needs of sbjects. 5.The differences among sexual knowledge, sexual attitude, and sexual education needs of students with visual impairments were as follows: (1)Subjects who were with visual impairments only and whose fathers received higher education were more correct with respect to sexual knowledge than those who had multiple disabilities and fathers received less education. (2)Male subjects who were eight grade and with multiple disabilities were more positive with regard to sexual attitude than those who were female, seven grade, and with visual impairments only. (3)Subjects who had multiple disabilities and whose fathers received lower education needed more sexual education than those who were with visual impairments only and fathers received more education. |
