Popis: | 96 Being visually disabled, the researcher has been motivated strongly to conduct this study in order to realize the limitation of the visually disabled playing a role in leisure, and find out the other four senses feelings except vision, and discuss their leisure experience and adaptive course, the difficulties of the barrier-free leisure environment and its policy as well as the construction. The study method is Grounded Theory based on 6 Taichung citizens who are adventitiously visually challenged as the study objects. The profound interview focused on their leisure experience at the National Museum of Natural Science to understand the inner and outer difficulties and the effect that they had to face in their leisure adaptive process. Collecting the word by word memos after visiting the survey candidates of these visually disabled, the researcher has used the decoding tech of the Grounded Theory to generalize 26 categories at the stage of the open decoding so as to the main decoding. And then in the stage of the selective decoding, the researcher has decided and concluded the following 5 processes: 1. hesitate to move forward; 2. give timely assistance; 3. touch/ feel something without the thorough observation; 4. feel ease like fish in the water; 5. slam-dunk, to succeed. In the meanwhile it develops:the adaptive course of those visually challenger’s leisure experience; the molding of the relationship between the visually disabled leisure constraints and experience. For the convincing study, except the adventitiously visually challenged as the main study object, there were 2 other groups as the contrast study which had focused on 6 ordinary people and 4 public officers. The interview was based on Focus Group Study Method. In the group of the ordinary people’s interview it comes out as bellowed: barrier-free leisure environment is the public’s need; the 5-senses-feeling experience is very attractive; caring and accepting the visually disabled; offering friendly and professional service. As to the group of the public sector, it comes out the following 3 categories: opinions for those visually disabled; service aspect; barrier-free environment. Based on the study conclusion of the “Adaptive process of the visually challenger’s leisure experience”, the researcher has cross-checked with the 2 antithetic study groups and spoke out the detailed study description and suggestion for the actual policy of Taiwan’s leisure environment. These would be reference for the related leisure department in official or private association: 1. The suggestions for the visually disabled: help yourself first and then the others will help you; be active, positive and express properly; raise the participation of the policy. 2. The suggestions for the chief of the public sector: encourage the people to advise the proposal for the barrier-free environment; design the leisure exhibition in accordance with the 5-senses-experience; promote actively the commentator service. 3.
