"Pas de Duex" is a honors graduation project produced and directed by Wan-Chun Lu, the graduated student of Graduate School of Applied Media Arts, National Taiwan University of Arts. The movie was accomplished on June, 2008. The topic of scenario is surrounding friendship between two high-school girls who admire for dancing. It tends to convey the influence between people, furthermore, the optimistic and fortitude attitude towards life. The length of this movie is 37 minutes approximately. It spent up to one year to be accomplished. This movie attempts to integrate different art forms and multimedia technology such as the application of multimedia, dancing, panting, animation and theater projection and so on to create its uniqueness and particular style. Besides, the whole movie was created by digital camera, digital editing equipment and incidental music. This research paper would document the entire production process in detail and would be respectively introduced and described as following. Chapter One: the motivation and objectives of the creation. Chapter Two: the texture of the creation and its related discourses, introduction of the background of the director and possible influences on the creation of this movie. Chapter Three: the philosophy of the creation, addressing the setting of the scenes and idiosyncrasy. Chapter Four: the shooting and production of the movie, introducing the process of the shooting and production of the movie in detail. Chapter Five: after- screening discussion, conclusion and suggestion, organizing the suggestion from the audiences and reviewing the entire production process. This research paper tries to share the experience with all who prepare to create their own movies in the future through the records of the production process of this movie.
