| Popis: | 96 The contents of abstract in this thesis : Travel motivation and satisfaction may influence tourists’ travel willingness to revisit the sightseeing sites. Understanding different types of prospective tourists’ travel motivation and satisfaction with MaoLin National Scenic Area would be beneficial for the managers to plan marketing and promotion strategies. The questionnaire survey poll, targeting at tourists who visited MaoLin National Scenic Area was employed in the study. The results show that the tourists’ background information including sex, the marital status, age, education level, income, location of residency, and occupation shows different cognitive levels on the degree of the tourists’ travel motivation. In addition, travel characteristics including the frequency of traveling, transportation, type of sightseeing site, traveling companion, the source of information show different degree cognition of travel motivation individually. Education level, income, location of residency, and occupation show different degree of tourists’ satisfaction and cognition.The traveling characteristics including transportation, type of sightseeing site, traveling companion, and the source of information show the different degree of tourists’ satisfaction cognition. In sum, the travel motivation and re-visitation willingness are correlated according to the results of the study. In addition, tourists’ satisfaction will have impact on tourists’ behaviors. As a result, tourists’ travel motivation and satisfaction will influence their willingness to revisit MaoLin National Scenic Area.
