Popis: | 96 In Fabry-Perot microcavity solid state laser, it is often difficult to produce the high-frequency signal above 10MHz. Kenju Otsuka propose that asymmetric end-pump is applied to thin-slice solid state laser and it associated with the high frequency between nonorthogonal transverse modes, then asymmetry pump become an interesting research direction in recent years. In this article, asymmetry pump is reached by sloping incidence angle of pumping source. At the same time, we discuss the dynamics behavior of the high-frequency signal, that is accrued by asymmetry pump excites Nd:YAG crystal. We discover two groups of nonorthogonal transverse modes and beat frequencies between pairs of transverse eigenmodes in experiment. And the factor which this two groups of nonorthogonal transverse modes, conjecture because thermal effect of asymmetry pump light source make refraction rate of crystal distributed and limited into the asymmetry, therefore has produced the nonorthogonal transverse mode. This is called -- asymmetric transverse optical confinement effect . |
