Stability of Fuzzy Large-scale Control Systems with Bounded Uncertain Delays

Stability for complex systems with uncertain delays would be interesting in control since in practical applications, it is not easy to know the delays exactly. Both stability and performance of fuzzy large-scale systems with delays are studied in this paper. Conditions for global exponential stability of fuzzy large-scale control systems with uncertain delays are derived. Instead of using Lyapunov functions, the theorem is proved via functional differential inequalities analysis thus we do not require the delays to be differential and it is also not necessary to know the exact bounds of the delays. The stability condition is derived by method of functional differential inequalities analysis, in combined with linear matrices inequalities (LMIs) techniques. A numerical example is also given to demonstrate the correctness of the theoretical result.
