| Popis: | 96 The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between perceived coaches’ leadership behavior and team cohesion of youth baseball players. 210 players who competed baseball championship in 2008 finished the questionnaires. The questionnaire used in this study was Leadership Scale Sport(LSS) and Group Environment Questionnaire(GEQ). The data were analyzed by using Descriptive statistics, Independent t-test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation analysis and Stepwise multiple-regression, and the results indicated that (1)Leadership behaviors of the coaches and Team cohesion that have been recognized by these youth baseball players include training and instructional, support behavior, positive feedback, democratic behavior, autocratic behavior, social cohesion and work cohesion. Different training frequency has significant effect in autocratic behavior and work cohesion. (2)Social cohesion is being connected with training and instructional, support behavior and positive feedback. Support behavior and autocratic behavior indicated variable in social cohesion. |
