A Study of School Education and Family Factors on the Environmental Behaviors of Senior Grade Pupils in Elementary Schools-Dacun Township, Chunghua County as an Example

| Popis: | 96 The purpose of this research is to investigate the influence of school pupils’ environment behavior on schools education / family factor for the fifth & sixth grade students in Changhua County. The research method adapted was questionnaire survey. 354 students were chosen by stratified random sampling and cluster sampling, of which 306 samples were valid. The raw data collected were analyzed by percentage frequency distribution, t-test, Chi-Square test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation, and Multiple regression analysis. In addition, posterior comparisons were proceeded. Conclusions: 1. The school pupils have good performance in Environment behavior. 2. Regarding environment behavior, fifth grade students’ performance were batter than sixth grade students, and students whose mother graduated from college have batter performance than the others. 3. Correlations exists between environmental behavior and school education，between environmental behavior and family factors，and between family factors and school education. 4. There exists a significant link between environmental behavior and school education/ family factors, meaning that students’ environmental behavior can be predicted from their chool education/ family factors. Suggestions: 1. Central educational administrative bureaus should think the way to develop family education, and push the environment education. 2. Realization 1-9 curriculum, specially the issue of environment education. 3. Elementary schools should value the influence of environment behavior on latent curriculum 4. Parents' involvement has great help for the environmental behavior of students. |
