To Confer the Influence on the Faculty's Working Response with Anticipated Organizational Downsizing at the Private University

The main purpose of present study is to investigate, under anticipated organizational downsizing, through the difference of faculty''s characteristic and organizational trust effect, to understand the relationship and implication about the faculty''s working response. This research does questionnaire investigation to the faculty''s of 11 private universities in Tainan and Kaohsjung area, regain 300 parts of valid questionnaire, and data processing by spss12 statistical software, with letter degrees of analysis, factor analysis, describing statistical analysis, analyze, single factor analysis of variance, canonical correlation analysis,etc.method. Through empirically examining, the present paper would like to explore the effects that employee’s perception of uncertainty. The perception of uncertainty exists in many ways, such as job insecurity, conflict of roles, overload of roles and fewer resources etc. There are significant difference about trust of executives, especially in the conflict of roles and the overload of roles, These results implicate that employee’s working reaction was effected by trust, and the relation of trust was effected by perception of uncertainty. The trust of relationship is a very important agenda to manager. Finally, through the comparison and analysis, the moral integrity characteristic is concern with organizational trust, faculty''s characteristic have significant disturbing effects about working response.
