The rural-urban disparity in explaining the women's willingness of pap smear.-The approach of social marketing

Popis: | 96 Bureau of Health Promotion showed statistics of year 2006 that cervical cancer is the fifth incidence of women cancer and the sixth at death rate. Until the end of year 2005, only 53.8 percent of age above 30 years old women have taken Pap test within three years. This rate is far behind advanced countries’ 70% to 80%. The research plans to discover the government promoting present Pap test strategy in a social marketing 4P combination (Product、Price、Place、Promotion ) and study what women''s response and acceptance of situations are in different areas. The objects of this research are women at age 30 years old and above in Taichung Country and Changhua Country Pu-shin Town. By using Percentage, frequency distribution, Chi-square test and CMH, the statistics showed that, 1. Demographic attributes and whether women accept the Pap smear screening test statistically significant difference. 2. To distinguish between different regions and Pap smear screening test of the 4P combination statistically significant difference. 3. To distinguish between different from the Pap smear screening and whether if women have taken the test among the price phase, product phase and promotion phase statistically significant difference. To address the above findings, recommendations of the health authority plans to increase the seizure rate strategy, should consider regional characteristics, and facilitate the establishment of popular program to make women have more opportunities and examined the ability to take Pap test and improve the actual acts of subjects. |
