“Interferencing signals” is the primary enemy of telecommunication, when we may face some problems such as acoustic echo, noise and double-talk of conversation in building up a communication system enviroument. An integrated acoustic echo and noise canceller is proposed for hands-free telephony applications. The proposed system includes a acoustic echo cancellation(AEC) and a computationally efficient double-talk detection (DTD) method and a residual echo cancellation(REC) algorithm. Part of AEC, it utilize the adaptability wave filter with Normalized Least Mean Square (NLMS) algorithm to estimate echo and adjust the factor of the wave filter to eliminate the acoustics echo. From the part of DTD method uses two cross-correlation coefficients and is robust in adverse conditions. In the residual echo cancellation approach, a linear prediction error filter with Levinson-Durbin(L-D) algorithm to removes the short-term correlation of the residual echo and the resulting whitened residual echo is canceled by a noise-reduction(NR) filter. The results verify our analysis and show that the structure we propose is suitable to provide a comfortable communication system.
