n recent years, the problem that the petroleum is shortage and the cause is accented seriously to protect environment. The investigation of alternative energy and green energy is carried out insistently. One of green energies is fuel cell which is developed with hydrogen energy. It is attached the most importance to. One of important parts in fuel cell is gas diffusion layer which is fabricated with carbon paper or carbon cloth generally. Gas diffusion layer lays stress on high conduction, intensity, and anticorrosive ability. This investigation focuses on fabricating gas diffusion layer. Oxide fiber felt, the polymer and carbon black is used in the experiment. This process is different from the method of papermaking in business. In this experiment, we use the C/C composite material fabrication to approach the goal of developing the low cost and simple process. The addition of carbon black is order to increase the plane and through conduction. the polymer is used to increase cementation among fiber and fiber. The best concentration of the polymer is 10wt%. When the concentration of the polymer is too low will cause the effect of cementing fiber bad. But when the concentration of the polymer is over, the pores of carbon paper are filled with the polymer. This condition will make permeability lower. The most suitable pressure in the fabrication of gas diffusion layer is 10 kg/cm2. The lager pressure will cause fiber to break. It will lead in the efficiency lower.
