The evolution of information technology has changed the business models and the way people live. Mobile communication plays a key role in the fields of medication, shopping and learning, etc, of our life due to people's needs of mobilization, wireless application and personalization. The 3rd Generation Telecommunication (3G) application has became a star of the technology industry nowadays. Universal Mobile Telecommunication System (UMTS) is 3rd generation mobile communication technology developed by International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in 1996. UMTS is GSM implementation of 3G wireless phone system and improved the performance and security. The first part of this research specifies the difficulties for authentication and session key distribution using UMTS Authentication Key Agreement (AKA) mechanism. A new method also is discussed to resolve the problems of AKA under this infrastructure. In the second part, these resolutions will be employed in the realistic business model between the service provider and client based on UMTS AKA. The final part of this research defined the authentication and key agreement protocol between and service provider and client that provided a safe environment for exchanging the mobile information and data.
