The aim of this thesis is to investigate the wavelet based method for integral equations of the second kind with weakly singular kernels. First, we introduce the potential theory and our problem origin. We shall apply the trigonometric interpolation for approximating the solution of weakly singular integral equations. Finally, we introduce the wavelets and use wavelets for approximately solving weakly singular integral equations.
