To use our attention resources more efficiently, visual attention could focused on special part of an object. Attentional concentration effect means that when tracking multiple spatial moving lines, attention focuses on centers part of the lines. Attentional amplification means that when lines’ lengths get longer, visual attention put more attention resources on lines’ center parts. In this research, we discussed how attention distributes within spatial moving object. In experiment 1, we replicated the experiment presented by Alvarez and Scholl (2005) to make sure the effects of attentional concentration and amplification. In experiment 2, we used uniform circles as stimuli to discuss how attention allocated in different kinds of objects which were relative more complex than lines. In experiment 3, we used a dart-like figure as a stimulus to test whether single uniformly connected representation (single-UC) is the basic unit of visual attention selection. The multiple uniformly connected (multiple-UC) representation attenuated the effect of attention concentration. In experiment 4, we discussed that whether different visual features would affect how visual distributes within spatial moving objects. The results showed that distribution of visual attention would be affected by different visual features such as colors. We observed a reversed attentional concentration effect when we presented subjects stimuli with the same shape but different color.
