Nowadays, HEV (Hybrid Electric Vehicle) is one of the ripest products in low emission and low fuel consumption for vehicles. For the HEV make use of both conventional engine drive and electric power, thus the SEENC (stored electrical energy net change) becomes possible to affect the repeatable characteristic of FE (fuel economy) value. Consequently, this dissertation is focused on the study of the effect by measuring variation on FE value, and to evaluate the effect of SOC (State Of Charge),ΔA-h, SEENC, and TFE (total fuel energy) on FE value in the fuel consumption tests. Through theoretical analysis and test verification on board, it can be found that the ratio of SEENC to TFE is possible to be the index for judging whether the variation of FE value is reasonable or not. If the ratio is restrict within a tolerated value, and then the variation of fuel consumption test can be controlled effectively.
