| Popis: | 95 The purpose of this paper are to examine the effect of both internationalization and corporate governance on Taiwan information and Electric Industry production efficiency. We collected the revelant data from listed firms between 1999 and 2005. We selected the FDI to be the variable of internationalization and the ratio of insider ownership, block ownership, institutional ownership, and composition of board of directors to be the variables of corporate governance. The translog Stochastic production frontier model is used to verified the effect of mentioned characteristics of vabiables. The SFA implies that (1)FDI did have a positive effect on internationalization; (2)Only the ratio of Institutional ownership had positive effect on Corporate Governance, besides, the rest of CG variables could not function effectively on Taiwan IE industries. |
